Description:
This "Mist Maker"runs on voltage AC 24V output is 1.2A  and needs water depth 50-60mm (if water deeper need to be stood on something) comes with transformer but will need a plug!

The manufacture describes how it works like this as taken from instructions 

"This unit utilizes oscillation at ultrasonic frequencies. The Ceramic membrans changes electrical oscillation into mechanical oscillation, which creates the mist and water spray. This oscillation also produces negative ions, which help to freshen air and the mist will add humidity to a room.

(we have been using outside for many years with no problems unless windy and then the mist will "blow" away) Also please note if used indoors unless big enough container you may find item causes a little splash/spillage.
